Jul 18 Wet hot summer

Between Tacocat's friendship bracelets, a beach concert ON THE SAND at the Ventura Surf Rodeo, and mac and cheese with hot Cheetos at Velvet Jones Mac After Dark, we pretty much lived the California dream. Oh yeah, and Hayley and Reid Crusher even rode the mechanical bull! (No real bulls were harmed during the making of this mini tour). Thanks to Numbskull Shows, Knucklehead, the entire junior class of Ventura High School taking over the Discovery Ventura dance floor, our road dogs Peyton Manning and Mavis, Willie from Velvet Jones, The Regrettes, and our BFF4EVA Natalie Horn for letting us stay at her mini Pee Wee's Playhouse by the Sea.

We met him the night before at Velvet Jones, where he works the boards. It was such a cool surprise to see him jumping on stage like an animal! We love you Willie!

First time playing this radical lil club in Santa Barbara where the mac and cheese flows freely after 9 p.m. (I ate half a large with beer soaked sausage, hot cheetos, tater tots, jalapeno bacon, bread crumbs, AND basil.) Then, I couldn't sleep till 4 a.m. Worth it. MIC DROP!
